City of Mexico, Mexico, oct. 23, 2002.
On November 11th the shooting of a new telenovela of Carla Estrada "Bodas de odio",
which was previously played by Christian Bach, Miguel Palmer and Frank Moro will start. Few days has left
before the cast will enter the foro of "Televisa" and the producer still doesn't have an
actress who will play the main part of this original history of Caridad Bravo Adams. The
leading actors who are already confirmed are: Elena Rojo, Fernando Colunga, Chantal Andere,
Rene Strickler and Beatriz Sheridan.
"It is the most difficult casting that I have ever done to find the actress for a telenovela,
because there are many actresses who want to play in it and it turned into the most difficult
process to find the ideal one", - commented Carla Estrada.
There exist two actresses who could characterize Magdalena, the heroine of the drama, and they
are: Adela Noriega and Alejandra Rosaldo (a vocalist of "Sentidos Opuestos"),
the latter has already fulfilled the corresponding casting. The soap opera will have
160 chapters and the story will take part in the XVIIIth and XIXth century though, according to
words of the producer, they won't put anything historical, besides, she commented
that the location of the shootings will be in Pachuca. "Bodas de odio" is expecting to go out
on TV in March.
