- Fernando, you have already 11 years worked in telenovels. What do you think about your work on TV?

- Television � it is an ullision. Sometimes it is impossible to understand why one or another mexican novel, which tells about typical mexican life, is so well accepted in other countries like Indonesia, Bosnia or Russia.

- In your opinion, what connects all spectators in different countries?

- Love, dreams, everything, that provokes some beautiful fellings.

- Do you play only main roles now?

- Acctually, I don't really care what role I will be playing. I would like to do my work well and nothing else. If you always think how many times you will appear, it is better to stay at home. I prefer to knock at the door, and not wait for the favour. Almost all my main parts I got though casting. Sometimes I had to do 26 castings for one role.

- Is there a word, that can characterize you like a person?

- There are many such words: respect, joy, sympathy, understanding. I try to be careful with everything and everyone, who surrounds me in my every day life.

- Exept work, where do you get pleasure?

- I like to swim, I love motosport. When I was a teen, my parents presented me a motocycle. Since then - it is my passion, which I got after my father.

- Where would you like to live and why?

- On Caribbean islands. It is a very beautiful place. I would like to stay there with my family and my parents. There is everything for good life: clean water, air, ground.

- What is your main lack?

- To call the things with their own names. That is why many don't like me. I have even a nickname � Antiactor.

- Whom would you like to be?

- Who I am now � Fernando Colunga.

- What do you think, when in actor's society is spoken much about alchogolism and drugs?

- About them it is always spoken a lot. In my young years I worked at a disco, where drugs were sold. I never was interested in it and am not interested now. I have anothers aims in my life and by the way I don't even drink, go in for sports.

- Did you have to refuse of something, because you are an actor?

- I separated with my fiancee. Actor's work takes a lot of time. I studied from the morning till the evening. My girlfriend was tired very soon with this life. It is a pity, we had very beautiful relationships.

- Are you a lot critisized?

- With my work it is natural. Who thinks in a different way is wrong.

- How about your best friends?

- My parents are my best friends. I don't meantain friendship with any actor, but with everyone I have good relations.

- Do you have brothers?

- No, I am the only child in my family. I have very tender and careful parents, although I was punished sometimes by my father. Many think, that if you are the only child - you are selfish, but it is not so. I am not a capricious man. In my childhood my parents always told me: �Your freedom disappears there, where the freedom of the other appears. Honour and decency are the best advicers in the life. If the problem comes - nobody, exept you, will decide it�. But sometimes it is so neccesary when somebody advices you: �Do so and that way�.

- Was it diificult for you to work with such a star as Talia?

- Star? Sorry, I didn't notice it. For me she was a partener and we had very good relationships.

- So good, that everyone spoke about your affair�

- Before our acquaintance with Talia nobody was intrersted in my personal life. Yes, it was an affair, but after it I will not allow anybody to trespass into my personal life. We didn't have very calm relations. Love - it is , when two persons can be alone. We couldn't do it. We were surruonded by journalists Many of them asked us very personal questions. At last these relations finished, as we were surrounded by the sea of lies, which was imagined by press. You won't proove to everyone , that they write lies.

- That is why it is difficult for you to speak about your personal life?

- Personal life - it is private. I am very shy at this question. I think for people it is more interesting to know what I do as an actor. It is not always very pleasant for me, when somebody trespasses in my personal life. There are some fans of mine, that know about me almost everything.

- There are a lot of them�

- It is true. Fans send me letters from everywhere and I try to answer to every personally. Many of them even ask for the copies of my telenovels. There are so many letters, that I think to open my own site in Internet.

- What woman's appearance is your ideal?

- I like the height of Nicole Kidman, the face of Sharon Stone and the body of Demi Moor. As you see, nothing special.

- Who are you in love - a tender kitten or a wild lion?

- It depends on with whom I am. There are women, with whom it is so pleasant to be a tender kitten, and there are, whom I would like to tear for pieces.

- What do your fans write you in their letters?

- Most of them are the letters of gratitude. Reading them, I am convinced, that my heros make people to dream and to find new ways to happiness.

- What cannot you forgive to your close person?

- As a rule, I try to see only good in people and not to notice lacks, in people, whom I like. But I cannot forgive a treachery, even if a man is very close to me.

- How do you manage to keep such a good form?

- I do exercises a lot of time every day and keep on diet. I try always to look well - our profession needs it. I know, that some day my beauty will go away, but I hope my talant and skill will stay with me.

- Tell us something about your hero in "La usurpadora" - Carlos Daniel.

- This novel was made after the script of Carlos Romero. I play Carlos Daniel. I must say, that it has fallen a lot to him from the critics and spectators for the weak-willedness. I agree with them in many things. Carlos rushes between two main heros - so different women as Paola and Paulina. He is a good man, but he allows to manipulate himself. Isn't he a loving man?! I am common with him in deep honesty and in some other parts of his character.
